Introduction;; This thread contains information for those interested in becoming a staff member. Please do not pitch a fit if you don't get a position you want; sometimes your application is too short, or you may not seem like you are that interested in the position. If you're interested in more than one spot, you must post seperate applications. Thanks to all in advance! :3
Staff Positions
Administrator; The adminstrator has control over the whole site. The main admin is the creator of this site. You must be talented and know how to operate proboards' admin functions to be able to obtain this position. You must be friendly and ready to help out alot with this position.
Co-Admins; Co-admins help with skins, the description of boards, and organizing bios and other threads. Color schemes, banners, images, logos; co-admins get to work with graphics alot. They also get to help with coming up with new plots and what new boards should be put up.
Global Moderators; Global Moderators are the mods who contribute by making sure everyone is following rules. They go over threads every once and a while, make sure no one is cussing out others, posting graphic things, or doing anything else wrong. There will be a few mods assigned to certain parts of the site, because one or two people can't look over the whole thing, so you won't have to worry about that.
Cleaning Moderators; Cleaning Moderators go around the site every two months and move any threads that havn't been posted on for that long and move them to the archives. This is so boards don't get clogged up with un-needed threads.

Username - your username E-mail - e-mail Other Ways to be Contacted - alternate e-mail and/or website you're on Applying for - the position you're wanting. You may apply for more than one. Examples - Give me an example of what you can do to help out the site. This seems simple, but try and make it as long as you can. What would you do in certain situations like if the site was being hacked? Or if something was stolen? You can make up a few of your own questions then post them along with those. Experience - Have you ever been staff at other places? Where, and what did you do? Why You Think You'd be Good for This Position - Just give me a reason why you'd be good. What could you do to help?

Username - Canaryisland E-mail - kingkomanjam@yahoo.com Other Ways to be Contacted - sydneys7984@yahoo.com Applying for - Global Moderator Examples - Hmmm...Scenarios......If the site was being hacked I would probably post up a notice or urge one of my superiors to saying what was going on, urging members to change their passwords and make them more complicated. If something was being stolen I would encourage people who make siggy's and good stuff (not unlike yourself) to put requests on hold for awhile, and all members to take the cool stuff you made them off their profiles for awhile until it passes over so there would be nothing to steal. If others were taking writings that weren't theirs and posting it on other sites I would be forced to take extreme measures, like banning the member and making the site's posts viewable to only members not guests... If the bandit continued to strike under new usernames I would have to shut down registering for the time being because that is WRONG. If people were staring to use plagiarism I would ban the member who had severely in hopes that it wouldn't happen again. In cases where a member curses I would follow these steps 1. Warn the member about it, and keep a confidential record with other mods about how many times each member gets a Warning and that after a certain number of warnings they would get banned for a certain number of days/weeks. Experience - I've never been an admin before, but I have role played on numerous sites. The ones I actively am on now are www.hprpg.foocow.net and shecat.proboards102.com Why You Think You'd be Good for This Position - I have alot of time on my hands, and I waste it on the computer alot..I'm always on it. I enjoy writing and since I have younger people in my house reading over my shoulder I feel strongly about the bad language.

Ohh! Very nice. Love the examples; you've got the position! congrats! and lust, it looks like you've had a lot of expierience, so you're most likely going to get the position.

Okay, since there aren't many members I could help you with organizing the boards and finer details, until somebody takes the job, I just can't do anything with computer graphics and stuff, just thought I'd offer help.

I know everything there is to know about sites and such including manage style sheeting and things..I could contact any superior if anything was to happen and give the person a firm talking to if they did something bad. I wouldn't be fooled easily, so if i notice something suspicious I'll investigate. Experience - As i said before I'm a head admin on my sites called WS. I also rp on 4 other sites two of which i am a mod and the other an admin.I've been rping for atleast 2 years now and I know everything of what to do as an admin and know not to use my admin power for evil -nudge nudge, just kidding-. I have made two sites one and invisionfree and on proboards but im much better at proboards... Why You Think You'd be Good for This Position - Because I am exetremly good at advertising too, in which this site needs, in fact (and im not bragging) i once advertised 10 times in one day. I can let you know if anything's happened, and improve a site. I have also been known as a very good admin...
